To Withhold is To Perish

When my soul was drenched in dismay,
I walked on the hoarfrost green carpet,
I felt the warmth of the glaring sun rising behind the mountains,
shining with all its splendour
the bitterly cold breeze was clinging to the trees
and the flowers which breathed their fragrance into the space
the clouds had made an unmatched pattern
I could smell the earth
An erratic butterfly was flying from one flower to another
I darted my sight over the flock of birds chirping on the branch,
which quivered in the sun
nature belified my soul and be calmed the fire of dismay,
which had started my destruction
nature quenched my unquenchable thirst
nature gave, she truly gave.
