how the scintillating sun snuggles
in the womb of the night,
but only for sometime.
Don’t you see
how darkness clasps suns stinging rays,
quietens the chaos of the day and
the noise of life;
allows you to sit back and let your worries
drift away and heal;
so you sparkle and glisten in the morning light.
Don’t you see
how dawn spreads colours of hope
over the horizon – of a new day,
a new beginning.
So why worry, dear soul,
The transient tryst will soon come to pass
For darkness and light are fated to part.
