The Chaos

The cool gusts
of morning breeze singe
my longing heart
as it fills up with the petrichor
emanating from
the rapidly
drying aphthongs
of my soul.
And in the twilight
of the evening time,
when the night unfurls
and darkness clings
to the arms of light,
and when the sky is cast
with sparkling stardust,
the moon talks to me
of a land beyond being
existence is eternal
and union real.
Oh, how ironic is
this being –
being existent and yet
not be
and in both ways
be afar from existence!
