My Abode

The moment you caught wings
And away you flew,
My soul forsake my body too.
It’s another talk that
You got freedom
And I’m yet tied down
Set afoot on the eternal journey
Hither and thither,
Dead and living
With the burden
Of my corpse on my shoulders-
Waiting upon time
To set me free,
To lead me to my abode –
My only piece of earth.
