Mid Day Prayer

This noon-I’m travelling,
in the arms of the valley
Imagining and thinking
about the purpose-
we are here, roaming
east and west-in this
varsity of life.
The syllabus of peace
and love,
but the pen-
is held by the Infidel
drawing the images
of hatred and oppression-
inked full of blood of naivete.
What else could be wished and
yearned-May the Peace prevail,
May the sufferings end, May the
oppression ends-
May the liberty spring in.
