Little Moth

Here and there you come so near
Oh! little moth why don’t you fear?
Heat of candle burns you to death
Yet you are eager to hold your breath
From where your little wings got this power?
To receive your beloved’s fiery shower
Quiet and calm you never say a word
You don’t complain when your heart gets hurt
From where have you learn’t such saintliness?
Even the angels admire your sacredness
You strain yourself all the night
Only to get a touch of that burning light
Knowing that your love is selfless and chaste
Why does still your beloved make haste?
To die at its hands is your fate
It burns you to death and says”lets separate”.
