From Where Jehlum Flows

A walk past
By that road
I do every day
From where my life left
From where Jehlum flows,
I breath the air, still
And that’s unknown
I walk by that bridge
I mourn even more
From where Jehlum flows,
Those smiles, those laughs
All snatched in one go…..
Haseeb, when you left
From where Jehlum flows
Don’t pleade with me anymore,
To smile and let it go
Let not this scar heal
As I walk by that road
From where Jehlum flows
I feel him near
I feel him far
I feel him alive
I feel him dead
I hear his loud silence
From where Jehlum flows…..
