Emptiness Of Rain

Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain.
Doesn’t it play your favourite beat?
Just listen! It reminds you of me.

See those drops, drizzling on your face.
Doesn’t it remind you of someone?
Just watch! It tells you, your gravest secret.

See this rush, from that source unseen.
Can’t you see the beauty in its imperfection?
Just see! It’ll take you to infinity.

Listen to the ‘tip-tap’ when it hits the ground.
Doesn’t your heart beat along its chorus?
Just feel! It’ll get connected to your core.

See how it fills that jug unfilled.
Doesn’t it remind you of your emptiness?
Just watch! It’ll fill you up too.
